Meet the Team
Shawn Reed – President
Shawn Reed founded SR Industries in 2001, bringing his expertise from a successful custom sewing business specializing in awnings and marine upholstery. As President, he oversees all operations, ensuring the company runs smoothly and continues to grow. His greatest reward is seeing his employees thrive and succeed.
Outside of work, Shawn is passionate about dirt late model racing, constantly fine-tuning his car and developing new strategies to enhance performance. When he’s not at the track, he enjoys spending time outdoors—hunting, fishing, and tending to his hobby farm and large garden. A natural problem-solver, he’s always building and fabricating tools to make everyday tasks on his homestead more efficient.
Stacey Afton – Office Administrator
With almost 19 years at SR Industries, Stacey plays a vital role in managing daily office operations and overseeing our online presence. She thrives on the variety of responsibilities her position offers, always eager to learn and grow alongside the company.
Outside of work, Stacey is pursuing a passion for silversmithing—her way of justifying an obsession with Michigan rocks! When she’s not at the office, she loves spending time with her three adult children, family and friends, sharing laughs and making the most of life. If the weather is right, you’ll find her along the shores of the Great Lakes, searching for treasures and soaking in nature’s beauty.
Pedro Hernandez - Operations Manager
As Operations Manager, Pedro Hernandez plays a key role in ensuring that SR Industries runs smoothly and efficiently. With 13 years of dedication to the company, he is committed to fostering a productive and positive work environment. Pedro thrives on finding solutions to the unique challenges that each project presents, always striving to improve processes and support his team.
Outside of work, Pedro enjoys playing soccer—though it’s been a while since he last hit the field. He also shares a love for wrestling because of his children, making for fun and lively family moments. His greatest passion lies in his faith and serving his community, a journey that continues to shape his personal and spiritual life. Currently in a stage of discernment, he is seeking the best way to contribute and make a meaningful impact.
Pedro considers himself truly blessed to spend time with his family and give back to others. His dedication to both his work and his values makes him an invaluable part of the SR Industries team.

With over 10 years at SR Industries, Shawn Reed Jr. is dedicated to developing new business, maintaining strong customer relationships, and managing materials and forecasting. He takes great pride in delivering top-tier customer service, building meaningful connections, and providing innovative solutions to customer challenges.
Outside of work, Shawn enjoys designing and woodworking, always looking for creative projects to take on. He spends his free time with family and friends, fishing, mountain biking, and tackling home improvement projects. A lifelong learner, he enjoys gardening, beekeeping, and anything that challenges him to develop new skills.
